Cody has 15 years of experience studying and working within ecosystems of the West. He holds a Masters of Science in Ecology from Utah State University where he studied plant species distribution modeling using GIS and Remote Sensing. He is Professional Wetland Scientist (Society of Wetland Scientists Professional Certification Program #3687). He is proficient with every aspect of GIS and GPS as it applies to environmental projects. He has experience managing large scale projects such as designing and implementing a BLM aspen resource strategy, conducting statewide aspen forest assessments for state and regional land managers, and managing data collection for 50+ field techs providing environmental and cultural surveys. He has over 10 years of field experience with wetland delineations and botany surveys in the intermountain west. He has successfully acquired environmental permits for a range of projects from large infrastructure to commercial and residential development.
